How does a society experience the end of an era? What forms does the embarrassment of an interim period could possibly take? What part of introspection and violence have? How does the need for togetherness can that easily be converted into the exclusion of the other?
Triggered by the allegorical poem of William Shakespeare «The Phoenix and the Turtle», which "directs" a ceremony for the death of an imaginary pair of birds, the team YELP danceco. presents the performance "The Phoenix and the turtle - a study on chaos in 2 acts and one epilogue." In a world dominated by discontinuity, fragmentation and aphasia, the sounds and words are perceived as music, while images enable us to recall the function of dreaming.
