Born in Athens, Greece in 1976. His practice is the collaborative amalgam of human encounter and aesthetics, poetry and politics, fine art and theater and his work has been shown in: United States, Canada, England, Greece, Sweden, Czech Republic, Norway, Finland, Germany, Italy, Spain.
He has been commissioned for or participated in more than 60 exhibitions in: National Theater London, Greek State Museum of Contemporary Art, European Cultural Centre of Delphi, Athens Biennale etc. and recently he was commissioned to create a large scale video participatory installation for the Athens Festival 2015.
His work in performance designing and/or directing consists more than 60 productions (Royal Opera House-Covent Garden/ UK, Benaki Museum, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, National Greek Opera, Onassis Cultural Centre etc.).
Since 2004 he has taught at: University of Peloponnese/ Nafplio, University of Patras, École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs / Paris and the Masters in Art Therapy/ Athens. For the academic year 2012-2013 he was a Fulbright Visiting Artist at the Arts Politics Department, Tisch/ New York University where he teaches till now.
He curates blinddate12.blogspot.com, a coming-together platform with artists, writers, philosophers and strangers. He was also co-curator for international artists for the first Mykonos Biennale 2013 and the same year he transformed the island of Ithaca in community poetry platform involving the residents of the island.
He has received distinctions from institutions such as the Arts and Humanities Research Board/ UK, London Institute. He has been awarded scholarships and distinctions from foundations such as the: Fulbright, A.S. Onassis, Linbury, A.G.Leventis, Propontis, Spyropoulos, B&E Goulandris.
