Beton7 Gallery presents the installation of Taki Zerdevas and Makis Faros entitled The mind is a gap. The work is a multimedia installation where the viewer is confronted with two conceptually different states of space.

The mental games and dreams, the insight, the emotion, the contemplation and attention are essential experiential elements.

The first space is a three-dimensional space, teleological. It is a space - field, which is defined and redefined, repeatedly, with metrics in three dimensions and with stimuli and relationships, which create tensions and interconnections.

The second space is a cognitive one. A contemplation space, which is often densely enriched by our fears, feelings of frustration, confinement and exit/exodus (in biblical sense).

The work The mind is a gap at a time when everyday life, media and social media monopolize our attention and our thoughts, comes to harm or remind main directions of thought and lived experience.
