Beton7 Gallery presents the work of Yorgos Bakalos, meta:p(F)ace, an audiovisual installation/live-art performance, which unfolds in two spaces. The meta:p(F)ace explores the concept on emotional abandonment and how it manifests itself in everyday life by ongoing dialectical relationship between the “ι” and the external reality.
The need for awareness and the perpetual search for the real self is the center point of this research, which attempts to outline through the live processing of images and sounds the sensuous and emotional landscape of the performer.
An artist performance will take place on the opening and at the 2,3,7,8,9,10 and 12 April at 11pm.
Sandy Finlayson edited music videos and Stevan Lung visual material.
