It is a joint production of Goethe-Institut Athen with the platform moving silence (www.movingsilence.net) and in cooperation with the Center for Arts, Beton7.

Classical and contemporary silent films with live music from Greek and international musicians and sound artists.
Goethe-Institut Athen and Festival Moving Silence give the opportunity to artists living and working in Greece to implement a contemporary silent film.
Submit your proposals until March 26, 2013 and earn 1.000 € for the production of your movie.

The technique, duration and the thematic of the film is your choice. A contest without the “classical” jury vote, both online and offline. The public participates in the prizewinning concept. Moving Silence Festival is held for the third year now in Athens from 28-31 March and presents classical and contemporary silent films with live music from Greek and international musicians and sound artists.
