The flute with the use of modern flute techniques creates a variety of timbres, which extended further its sound spectrum, combined with electronic sounds either pre-recorded, or processed in real-time. The musical combination of flute and electroacoustic music can evoke imaginary soundscapes, which can direct the imagination beyond our real listening acoustic world. The sound diffusion in the space, using multiple speakers, emphasize even more the audience imagination.
Myrto Korkokiou and Apostolos Loufopoulos have been collaborating since 2000 and have performed widely works for flute (live instrument) and electronic sounds, computer processed and prerecorded, in real time and diffusion.
