«What's to be made of something carved into stone?» Dimitris Pikionis phrase expresses his love for the unattainable, the dream which creates the steps in pursuing the better. It creates a confrontation -a commotion- between what is permanent and what is temporal. The contemporary landscape of the city under the shadow of the grand architect’s words is presented in a musical performance which combines electronic sounds, both pre-recorded and edited in real time, creating a melange of different strings, vocal tones and other sounds.
