«What's to be made of something carved into stone?»

Dimitris Pikionis
phrase expresses his love for the unattainable, the dream which creates the steps in pursuing the better. It creates a confrontation -a commotion- between what is permanent and what is temporal.

The contemporary landscape of the city under the shadow of the grand architect’s words is presented in a musical performance which combines electronic sounds, both pre-recorded and edited in real time, creating a melange of different strings, vocal tones and other sounds.

Yiorgos Magoulas is a composer and guitarist. He graduated from the National Conservatory of Athens and London’s Morley College. He has composed music for theater, television, fine art exhibitions, short films and others. He is the composer of the awarded documentary series «Warzone», and has composed music for the «Hellenic World Foundation» and ERT.
