Bi-Bi from Αth(e)rlin presents Stop-Go on Saturday April 4th at 11pm.
A socio-political statement as a noise, dark, minimal, experimental, narrative. An ambient collage of fragmented sounds, voices, text and movement.
Bi-Bi was born in Athens, studied in Glasgow and now lives in Berlin. He emphasizes on the generation of sentimental soundscapes while improvising sounds/noises with samplers & sequencers.
He has been composing experimental, minimal, techno, dark, ambient, noise since 1995, has though only occasionally performed live, as in the Small Musical Theatre in Athens (2002 & 2004), the Arts University (UdK) in Berlin (installation in 2011 & performance in 2013), and Biotexnia in Thessaloniki (2013).
He released his first cd as “Bi-Bi” in 2012 with poems as titles. ‘’StopGo” in 2013 was a collage of words and sound, a socio-political statement. In 2014 he gave his version of dance music with the electronic release “BiBeat”.
