The well-known and critically aclaimed Konstantinos Sfetsas – Nelly Semitekolo duo, with long and solid presence in the musical events of the country, presents a unique concert with works of the 20th century. The first part of the evening begins with a tribute to Sergei Prokovief (the Sonata No. 3 for solo piano in La Minore project 28 and the Sonata for Cello and piano in c major op. 119). The second part continues with the Suite No. 1 op. 72 for Solo Cello of Benjamin Britten and ends with the Sonata for Cello and Piano No. 1 of Alfred Schnittke. A demanding night both for the performers and the audience.
