The top figures of the Beat Generation in a forthcoming stage revival.
On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of William S. Burroughs, the author who excitingly changed the literary standars of the post-industrial era, Beton7 presents three theatrical shows, three songs, for the three major personalities: William Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac.
Through texts and poems of these authors, Peris Michaelides and George-Ikaros Babassakis show on stage the literary richness and indomitable courage of beat creators. Michaelides recites/interprets fragments of their works, read what others wrote about them, introduces us to their electrified universe, acquaints us with their staggering kaleidoscope.
Direction/Performance: Peris Michaelides Scripts/Music: George-Ikaros Babassakis Artistic Documentation: Eleanna Martinou
