Two women onstage, with the remembrance of Hippolytus and the threat of Theseus. The victimizer and victim, Phaedra. The Oenone, companion and conversationalist. Who are these two women that the labyrinth of passion will swallow? In this performance directed by Maritina Passari and Evri Sofroniadou, the Racine's Phaedra intersected with other versions of the myth. The poetry of speech collides with the behaviors of passion. The silence of logic bursts. The confession of love leads to death.
