Beton7 presents the theatrical adaptation of Knut Humson's novel ''Hunger''

The play:
A writer wanders the streets of Christiana (Oslo) trying to survive by selling articles to newspapers. Struggling daily with hunger, misery and social humiliation, he maintains his integrity by remaining faithful to his existential pursuits.

Writer: Knut Hamsun was a Norwegian author, play writer and poet who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature (1920). Hamsun is considered to be  the leader of the Neo-Romantic revolt at the turn of the 20th century. He also influenced authors such as Bernhardt, Becket and Bukowski.

The purpose of the performance is to highlight the necessity of solidarity in today's societies.
Its perspective is to be presented in different places where various collectives are active.
